Terms & conditions

So that you experience the very best that Mt Hay Retreat has to offer, we have developed the following policies and guidelines which we respectfully request that you adhere to before, during and after your stay. Should you require more information, please dont hesitate to ask.

Smoking

We have a strict no smoking policy. A sanitisation fee of $1000 will be charged where smoking occurs.

Small pets and animals

Due to the fragile nature of the environment, guests are unfortunately not permitted to bring pets onto the property.

Communications and privacy

If you contact us by email, fax, standard mail or through this website, you agree to allow us to contact you in the future with promotional material regarding upcoming events, special offers or general information. Should you wish to opt out, please let us know and we will not contact you again.

We will never use your name and information for any other purpose, nor provide it to any other party without your prior permission or where legally obliged to do so.

Additional guests

Unless otherwise specified, all accommodation and rates quoted are based on double occupancy.  Please note that we are unable to welcome children as guests.

Damages, breakages and antisocial behaviour

As a guest, you are liable for any damage/breakage caused by you or those invited to the property by you. We don’t normally charge for small accidental damage, but all other incidents will be charged to your bill. Please alert us to any damage as soon as possible so that we can make the appropriate repairs.

If you feel that your stay is being adversely impacted by other guests, please contact us directly. As we endeavour to maintain the peace of this environment for all, any guests found to be causing a disturbance will be asked to leave.

Additional cleaning

A cleaning fee of $200 will automatically apply if excess cleaning is required for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, soiled bedding and towels.

Personal property

Unfortunately no responsibility can or will be taken for any loss or damage to personal property.

Changes to policies

These policies are subject to change without notice. Latest update October 2017.
